Israel has announced a stopping of gas aid because Hamas does not extend the reconciliation
Israel has announced today that it is stopping access to any humanitarian aid to the Palestinian population of the Gaza Strip, Reuters reported.
The decision is by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his office said in an official statement.
The statement does not give details, but it is warned that there will be « more consequences » if the Radical Palestinian Movement « Hamas » does not accept the US plan to extend the ceasefire between Israel and the movement in the Gaza Strip, the France Press and the Associated Press informed.
An important Hamas frame showed the divisions in it with a comment on October 7
« There is no termination of fire without the release of our hostages, » said Prime Minister Netanyahu, distributed by his office and quoted by AFP.
The Agreement to terminate the fire between the warring countries came into force on January 19. His first stage expired that night.
Israel stopped the release of prisoners because of Hamas and sent tanks to the west coast
Israel and Hamas have not yet negotiated the second phase.
The proposal by US President Donald Trump's envoy for the Middle East, Stephen Whitkof, is to temporarily stop the fire in the Gaza Strip during Ramazana and Easter.
Israel and « Hamas » ended the first stage of the fire stop agreement in Gaza
According to Whitkoff's plan, half of the rest of the Israeli hostages – both alive and dead must be released on the first day of the second phase of the armistice. It is envisaged that the other hostages will be handed over by Hamas after a permanent truce is agreed.
