Israel ends embassies around the world
The Israeli government determined, on Friday, the closure of all Israeli embassies in the world following the attack on Iran.
Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated that “due to recent events, Israeli missions worldwide will be closed and no consular services will be provided,” reads the Israeli Embassy website in Lisbon.
In the same publication, contacts are available for “emergencies or problems”, as well as containing a connection to a form where Israelites abroad can inform about their location and state.
In the same publication, the Embassy provided a call to a document for Israelites abroad to inform the location and the state.
The embassy also leaves a number of recommendations to its citizens, such as avoiding using “Jewish or Israelite symbols in public spaces” and not publishing “identifiable details about location or travel plans on social networks”.
The presence “in large meetings or events associated with Israel or Jewish communities” is also advised to be advised and should always “maintain a high alert in public places”.
It should be noted that the closure of all embassies is a safety measure, in the aftermath of the military offensive of Israeli forces against Iran, with bombing to military and nuclear facilities that will have killed high Iranian officials, scientists and other civilians.
The attacks were carried out by 200 aircraft against a hundred targets, located mainly in Tehran and the Natanz Uranium Enrichment Center in the center of the country.
Iranian authorities have already reacted and promised a boundless response to Israelite attacks.
