The Israeli army had previously called up the residents of Hadat for evacuation. It was the third Israeli attack on the suburbs of Beirut since a ceasefire came into force.
After an evacuation call, Israel attacked a suburb of the Lebanese capital Beirut. A journalist from the AFP news agency saw Rauch rising over a building in the southern suburb of Hadat after the air raid on Sunday. The Israeli army had previously called up the residents of Hadat for evacuation and explained that there were « institutions » of the Pro-Iranian Hezbollah-Militia.
It was the third Israeli attack on southern suburbs of Beirut since a ceasefire between Israel and the Pro-Iranian Hezbollah-Miliz came into force at the end of November.
The Hisbollah supported by Iran had had Hamas Gaza war triggered on Israel in October 2023 with increased rocket fire on Israel. Israel reacted with massive air strikes to destinations in Lebanon and finally with a soil offensive. On November 27 of last year, a ceasefire between Israel and the Hisbollah came into force.
