“There is no. There must be two conditions in order for an attack against Lithuania: first, enemy forces must be arranged at the Lithuanian borders, and secondly, the intention must be known. Currently, military intelligence is monitored by Russia's actions in Ukraine and there are no signs that capacity to be transplanted closer to Lithuania. The situation in Belarus remains unchanged: intensive but stable military training. Therefore, none of the above conditions are fulfilled, ”assured representatives of the Military Public Relations Division of the Lithuanian Armed Forces Strategic Communication Department, who did not want to reveal their duties or surnames to the newspaper.

The question of whether Russia was threatened was said to be unequivocally yes, but it was never the other way about the story.

Arrived with new US soldiers

It was emphasized that two battalions in the US have deployed in Lithuania, and they also train with Lithuanian troops, usually with the Infantry Brigade Žemaitija.

In addition, a new rotation of US troops arrived a few weeks ago.

Currently there are about 1 thousand in Lithuania. The number of troops of the US 45th Brigade Lietuva is expanding.

“The global defense does not mean that everyone is about to shoot. It means that those who are able to shoot are preparing to shoot, who do not pay, but can shoot, learn and are ready to replace the shooting if necessary. Those who are unable and unable to shoot do the job they do and pay the best and are ready to do the job under all circumstances – it is a universal defense and an insurmountable fortress. The enemy is well understood by the enemy, trying to blame the wedges to our brains and forced to make the decisions dictated by fear, and this is what we just have to be resistant to it, ”the Lithuanian Armed Forces emphasized.

And preparation for the war is the path to peace.

Modern life is not without piloted air systems, the so -called drones, so we organize the preparation of their pilots, we also have strong enough doctors to help both ourselves and those nearby. We improve our shooting skills and tactics. If the martial law had been introduced and the Commandant's Hours were introduced, the local commandant could probably rely on our units, which would participate and ensure the order with the police, ”Milkintis said.

Currently, the Riflemen's Union is about 2 thousand. members. Their ranks are slowly growing.

“Law means that I must defend and it is a duty that I have to go to defend. But to do this thing, I have to pay something. The desire to defend or fulfill the requirements of the Constitution is not enough. You already have to train now to know what to do if you need it, ”said Milkinti.

Psychologist Gediminas Navaitis reminded that one of the goals of war is to break the spirit. However, there are some ways that help you not give up negative emotions.

“The term 'information diet' should be remembered. We all know food diets, and information diet is also needed. There are specialists working with information, including the political, military, which they provide us. So we really find out the essentials. I think some self -restraint, for example, one knowledge a day should be enough, because everything else becomes an excess that can strengthen anxiety, ”said Navaitis.

According to him, it is also important to pay attention to how to convey the information to the children so that they understand the situation and respond more calmly to the circumstances.

“I think everyone knows ways, but here's the opportunity to remind it – physical activity, nature, addiction control, communication with pleasant people, loved ones. Let's enjoy that we can have all this and use it, ”said G. Navaitis.
