Irregularities reported by Saturday at 1:00 pm
Irregularities and incidents in the electoral process in the diaspora were reported on Saturday, until 13:00, by observers and citizens on the correct vote platform, the Forum Expert announced.
The Romanians from the Diaspora are already voting on Friday in the 965 sections organized abroad, and the campaign ended on Saturday at 7:00.
« On Saturday, until 1:00 pm, the correct Vot Coalition centralized a series of irregularities and incidents reported by observers and citizens through the Vote Monitor, Call Center 0800 460 002 and the online platform www.votcorect.ro”, It is shown in a statement of the Expert Forum.
Most notifications received from voters are related to posting photos with ballots with the marked electoral option and some organizational problems in the polling stations.
According to the quoted source, numerous posts were reported on the Tiktok network with voting bulletins for one of the candidates – through the votcorect.ro portal were sent over 100 notifications on May 16 and 17.
Until Saturday at 12:00, the correct vote observers transmitted through the voting voting app of voting from over 70 polling stations abroad, most of the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. The observers monitored the opening of the sections in 61 polling stations, in which the process was carried out in good conditions, with no significant deficiencies being reported.
« With one exception, the voting was evaluated (good or very good) in the visited sections. However, it is worrying that in six of the observed sections the voting took place in a tense atmosphere or some actions to intimidate the voters or members of BESV-Liege 1, Issy-LES-MOUNIAUX, 2, (…) At some of the sections visited, the position and dimensions of the voting cabins did not ensure the secret of the vote. Four of the sections visited, ”says Expert Forum.
