Irinuca Columbeanu has become a subject of reportage in the American press. The 18-year-old is the young man of 2025. In a large article in The Malibu Times, referring to page 1, the daughter of the former millionaire and Monica Gabor is intensely praised.
In the article, Irina tells:
« When I moved to the United States, I had a small emphasis, and participating in the Boys and Girls Club in Malibu offered me a community, » said Irina Columbeanu from Malibu, an 18-year-old student, in the last year of high school in Malibu, who lived in Romania until the sixth grade. The Club of Boys and Girls in Malibu (BGCM) has recently announced that Irina Columbeanu, a teenage leader at the club over the past four years, is the young man of 2025. The prize is awarding a $ 2,000 scholarship and recognizes a person between the ages of 14 and 18 who demonstrates the academic excellence and a model of the club. Since then, he has won the competition in the Los Angeles county and has been a state finalist.

Irina did an internship at the club’s wellness center, where she followed cognitive-behavioral therapists, directly learning how to interact therapists with patients and apply evidence-based treatments.
« I also helped immigrants with limited skills in English, facilitating access to therapy and health care resources, surpassing linguistic barriers to promote support for mental health, » she explains, thus offering the club that helped her find her voice as immigrant and to help others.
Irina has fully embraced – and exemplifies the American dream. Obtaining exemplary notes at the MHS, she was accepted at the University of New York, where she intends to attend premedical studies. When asked what kind of doctor would like to be, she responds that she is interested in dermatology and surgery and mentions that her experience as a research trainee for N120, Inc., a brain-switch interface start to make a professional choice.

« I wanted to honor the girl who committed suicide and so I designed and made clothing for my non-profit brand, » she said. Irina mentioned that she had spokes that addressed this problem in the hope that this would help eliminate the stigma around suicide and mental illness.
Her experience of volunteering rivals that of volunteers who are double her age; She is the founder of a branch and president of Brent’s Club, a drug use prevention organization. « I am the president of the Brent club for four years and we have 60 members, which is a lot for MHS, » she says enthusiastically.
Irina is also a team leader for Gobabygo, a mobility construction club for patients with cerebral paralysis and is the president of the Zanmi club, a non-profit organization for Haitan women at the top of the Haitie province.
