Iran’s retaliation. The third series of rockets is flying towards Israel
The daily « Haarec » reported on Friday evening that the third series of rockets was fired from Iran, and at least 15 people were slightly or medium injured in Israel. In turn, the American portal Axios revealed that in the capture of Iranian ballistic missiles, the US forces help Israel.

In response to Iran’s actions, the Israeli army called people throughout the country to seek shelter in safe places. « People are asked to move to a protected area and will remain there until further notice, » it was said in the announcement.
The AFP agency informs that firefighters in Israel report « serious incidents » after Iranian rocket attacks. In the first two series, Iran fired about 150 rockets, and a large part of them – as the Prime Minister of Israel said – was shot down by the Israeli air defense.
According to the Iranian Irna agency, « Iran’s response to Israel’s attack began. » This agency said that Iranian air defense shot down two Israeli fighter aircraft over Iran’s territory. A spokesman for the Israeli army denied these reports.
The spiritual and political leader of Iran Ayatollah Ali Chamenei said that Israel had started the war, therefore it cannot be allowed to carry out attacks on the principle of « hit and run » without serious consequences.
– The Zionist regime will not avoid the consequences of its crime. The Iranian nation must have a guarantee that our answer will not be half -way, « said Chamenei. « The nation is behind us, behind the armed forces, and if God allows, the Islamic Republic will defeat the Zionist regime, » he added.
The US joins the war with Iran
Axios, who claims that the US forces help in knocking Iranian rockets, did not inform about the scale of this commitment. The fact that the United States will help Israel was the first to announce Donald Trump himself.
According to the Washington Post, which refers to representatives of the Pentagon, there are currently a number of American ships in the Middle East, including USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier, which is located in the Arab Sea with the USS Princeton rocket cruiser and destroyers of USS Milius, USS Sterett and USS Wayne E. Meyer. Two additional destroyers, USS Truxton and USS Forrest Sherman, are in the Red Sea.
The USA participated in the defense of Israel also during the previous two Iran rocket attacks in 2024
