In September 2024, Iran delivered rockets to Russia with nine ships under the Russian flag. Then three Reuters sources reported that the starting installations were not included in this delivery.

According to experts, the supply of starting installations to the FATH-360 will indicate the deepening of military cooperation between Iran and Russia.

Earlier, US Army General Christopher Cavoli informed the US Congress that Iran had transferred more than 400 small -range ballistic missiles to Russia. It was probably about FATH-360.

At the same time, there are no public evidence of Iran’s transfer of other types of missiles to Russia or the use of FATH-360 by Russian troops.

Analysts believe that the deployment of FATH-360 will allow Russia to store more modern missiles, such as « Iskander », for long strikes on the critical infrastructure of Ukraine, in particular energy, which will additionally load the air defense system.

« They (Russian troops-ed.) It will be much easier and faster to strike for important purposes. Fath-360 does not require much preparation for launch, and their flight time is extremely short, » said Fabian Hinz, a researcher at the International Institute for Strategic Strategic Studies.

« FATH-360 is designed in such a way that people with minimal training can be used, » said Ralph Savelsberg, Associate Professor of the Dutch Military Academy.
