Epidemiologists are in regular communication with the two positive MPOX people, as well as with the contacts indicated. MPOX’s two positive people are in good health, the Institute of Public Health said today.
As they point out, there are no new suspected cases of MPOX sent to testing and there are no new positive cases of MPOX. None of the contacts listed reports MPOX symptoms.
-The IF has published recommendations to the citizens of the website in the previous day, opened 2 (two) new lines for consultation of citizens and health workers. At the same time, the IPH developed a guide for health workers with recommendations and paths of movement for suspected cases of MPOX that were submitted to the Ministry of Health and from there to the competent health institutions- say the Institute.
The Institute said that online training for health workers to monitor protocols would be organized in the coming days.
As they explain, so far the risk of spreading this disease in our country remains low, given the rapid response and activities undertaken by the institutions.
