Investigation of a car accident in Cair
– On May 9, as a participant in public road traffic, the suspect on the street « John Kennedy » was driving a « Renault Modus » car, but did not adhere to the regulations and thus endangered public traffic and endangered people. Disrespecting the longitudinal markings of the carriageway, ie longitudinally marked doubled white full line, he turned the vehicle to the left, without having to make sure that he could do so without danger to other traffic participants or property. At the same time, he did not take into account the position, direction and speed of the vehicle movement, crossing a part of the road intended for the movement of vehicles in the opposite direction and hit a « BMW » motorcycle that was moving along the left lane – the prosecution said.
They added that the motorcyclist suffered severe bodily injuries and was hospitalized.
– In order to secure the suspect during the proceedings, the public prosecutor has proposed to the court to impose precautions: prohibition of leaving the residence, or residence, the suspect to appear occasionally on a particular official, temporary seizure of a state border crossing.
