Interview: Robert Pich from Spartak Trnava entered the league canonier club

He ran perfectly at the center and sent the ball to the net.

Robert Pich (36) He scored against Podbrezová’s 100th goal in his career and definitely became a member of the league canonier club.

In the elite club he is one of the few members who never joined the representation of Slovakia.

You have been waiting since October last year, when you also hit the network of Podbrezová. How does it feel like to overcome the magic point of a hundred goals in the highest competitions? Did you have a big stone from your heart?

Yes, because I wore it in my head for a long time. I was still listening to when it finally came. Even on the day of the match, my teammates reminded me of it, so I wanted to have it over.

Moreover, the end of the competition is approaching and if I missed it by the end of the season, it would be difficult for me.

Fortunately, it came and I got. I am glad that I have reached such a great point.

You won 2: 1, so your 100th goal had a winning flavor. What did the teammates and coach Michal Gašparík tell you after the match?

They came to congratulate me and enjoyed me. Thank them for doing it. I felt from them that they wish me, so we were very happy.

What did you bring to the cabin for the 100th goal and enter the league canonier club?

We haven’t solved it yet because we had an inflated program. However, I will definitely reward them and prepare refreshments next week.

I also thank my family, who prepared me decoration at home, which surprised me very much. I didn’t expect it and I appreciate it.

Congratulations to me also a lot of friends I felt support. Sometimes I felt that people around it want more than me. I am glad I finally have it over.

Did the magical foot of your legs tied to you?

There were situations that I normally transformed, but it didn’t want to fall there. I still wore it in my head, I wished it finally came.

What the season was approaching to the end and I did not enter regularly, it was more and more. Because I didn’t want to finish 99 goals.

I am therefore happy to do it this season.

If it went a goal after a goal, it would be easier. This is how I was quite nervous, but I really appreciate it now.

If you couldn’t score the 100th goal, would your teammates will give you a penalty? Perhaps you wouldn’t let you finish 99 goals…

For every goal, one gets up. In the league we still go much, we want to kill for second place, so you cannot rely on such a moment.

I am glad that I did it this season and it was a goal from the game that helped the team.

To be relieved. Alexander Ovečkin became the best shooter in the history of the NHL and you joined the league canoniers club. Did the Russian hockey player inspired you?
