Interrogging wife from Goodyear Top Manager

The wife of a TOPYEAR Europe Top Manager was killed in a break -in in Brussels. The burglar was lurking at her apartment door and stabbed her afterwards, reported the Belgian newspaper «  »Nieuwsblad«  on Saturday. Before he escaped, the perpetrator is said to have taken watches and jewelry worth several ten thousand euros from the apartment. After him it is still being searched for.

The act of violence happened on the evening of March 17th in the wealthy Brussels district of Woluwe-Saint-Pierre. Only now did the Belgian authorities announced details. The husband came home after his wife that day and found her lying on the floor. The burglar, who had already fled at that time, is said to have previously added four stab wounds. The husband immediately called the rescue workers, but all help came too late for his wife.

The manager and his wife killed in the robbery come from the USA. He has been responsible for all Goodyear branches in Europe, Asia and Africa since 2017. This also includes the Goodyear tire factory in Luxembourg. According to « Nieuwsblad », the man has now resigned from his function « for personal reasons ».
