Internship at a state giant
The Iași antibiotic drug factory, controlled by the state, has launched a project of professional development of students from fields such as pharmacy, medical bioengineering, engineering, chemistry and economy through which they can participate in internships in real working environment for two years.
251 students will be the beneficiaries of this project through which they will acquire skills that allow them to be included in work in money.
Copinanted from the European Social Fund+, through the Education and Education program 2021–2027, the project has a value of over 4.85 million lei and follows the development of the technical, digital and entrepreneurial skills of the young people, according to a statement of the company. « The project is aligned with our strategy to invest in talented young people and to provide them with valuable learning experiences. The beneficiaries of the internship are students from the Faculty of Medical Bioinginery and the Faculty of Pharmacy, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy « Grigore T. Popa » Iași, the Faculty of Chemistry and the Faculty of Economics and Administration of Business, the University « Alexandru Ioan Cuza » Iași, the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and the Protection of the Environment, » Applied also the Faculty of Automation and Computers of the « Gheorghe Asachi » Technical University.
Antibiotics Iasi, the only state -controlled drug factory, reported a net profit of 99.42 million lei, in 2024, up 23%, compared to 2023, according to the report transmitted to the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
It is the largest result in the history of the factory and marks the achievement of a 15% profitability terminal (profit related to business). Moreover, now antibiotics are among the most profitable state companies, other than those in the field.
