International Sigulda Opera Music Festival 2025 will enjoy two weekends / days in the summer
The Finnish Ambassador to Latvia, Anni Solorant, Estonian Ambassador to Estonia Eric Marmmei and Estonian Consul Marika Keiva-Urma, as well as Dante Aligieri, also came to the meeting for the upcoming Opera Music Festival.
The organizer of the festival, Dainis Kalns, introduced those present to the next summer festival program, confirming that in the summer of 2025, fans of opera music festival will have the opportunity to enjoy the open -air production of the Opera Traviata. He revealed that this year the opera production has received great recognition from the visitors, and comparing the performance of the Opera Traviata elsewhere in the world -famous operas, the open -air production in Sigulda Castle ruins has been rated as one of the most prominent productions seen. The Traviata opera Sigulda Castle Ruins will be a great opportunity to enjoy it for those who, for various reasons, could not see it this summer.
Sigulda Municipal Council Chairman says: « The International Sigulda Opera Music Festival is not only an outstanding art event, but also the story of enthusiasm, perseverance and love for culture. The Opera Music Festival has become part of Sigulda’s identity – an event that unites the era and people. In the garden, we can enjoy the Opera Music Festival this summer.

- July 25 at 19.00 Celebration Uverture – Opening Concert in the Garden of the New Castle of Sigulda;
- July 26 at 21.00 Giuseppe Verdi Opera « Traviata » original production in Sigulda Castle Ruins;
- July 27 at 18.00 Concert of the Latvian National Opera soloist Janis Apeins “Invited by Janis Apeinis”;
- August 2 at 21.00 Original production of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s « Magic Flute » on Sigulda Castle Ruins;
- August 3 at 18.00 Concert « The most beautiful opera melodies of all time » (a selection of the most beautiful aria from the Opera Music Festival in Sigulda).
The International Sigulda Opera Music Festival program is diverse every year, providing music and art lovers to enjoy unforgettable moments in Sigulda Castle ruins and Sigulda Castle Quarter, where especially in the evenings are wonderful views of the Gauja Ancient. Ticket sales for festive concerts are scheduled to start very soon – December 15, and the artists will be announced in the near future.
