International Family Day in Karlovac, marked by the celebration: ‘The family symbolizes peace …’
An more important thing than family is hard to find. Family is a community that runs through every aspect of our entire life. Therefore, the family is what we have to guard and nurture, but also to celebrate. That is why the International Family Day was celebrated in Karlovac on May 15th. In Karlovac Aquatica, a favorite destination for the family, there was no lack of songs, laughter, children’s Graj, just as it celebrates such a celebration.

Wise
The celebration program was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Demography and immigrants, and Minister Ivan Šipić sent their congratulations to the families.

« To all the families, the pillar and future of the community, to all the parents, those who are and those who are about to become, congratulations to the family day. We want to say that this Ministry, with our population measures we advocate strongly behind the family, » said Minister Sipic, and pointed out: « A complex story around the family begins from home, from home, and then all of the institutions, and even to raise all of the families communities. «

Minister Sipic also answered some of our questions, and he vividly evoked what a family represented for him.
« What would we do without a family, who can do without the family? Family is the basis of society, the foundation of the community and, of course, a real wealth for every state. The family symbolizes that peace, because only where one can find that true peace is the environment of the family. »
The music and stage program was attended by the children of the KUD Rečica, the Turanj Elementary School, the Ballet Studio of GK Zorin Dom, and the contestant of the show The Voice Kids, Karlovac Petra Dudukovic, competed. Everything was ‘spicy’ workshops that enjoyed the children of Karlovac kindergartens and schools.

The children also worked the mascot of the wise, who gave them « their » picture book. Namely, the wise is one of the important programs of the Ministry, which has collected an already enviable number of users, more than 50,000 parents. With the e-card of the wise, which can be made by each parent through the e-Citizens app, the family generates some discounts with more than 150 partners of this program.
