Intend to lower real estate taxes next year

In the day, Bragi discusses the great turnaround that has taken place in the operation of the municipality. In recent years, debt accumulation has been high, but the majority in Aarhus recently announced the annual accounts for 2024, with the positive performance being positive by just over three billion.

Bragi mentions that residents should enjoy the results when the business goes well with a lower tariff in service or with lower taxes.

« Yes, quite clearly. That is the goal and what we should work on as elected representatives, to have responsible operations and cost -effective so that you can lower the levy on the population, » says Bragi.

Last year, a load was put on the local tax on the proposal of the municipal operations committee. Initially, the municipality was granted permission to have the load for two years, but the burden was abolished after one year due to the fact that the municipality’s operations have been improved. It is therefore not value this year.
