Installation of interactive exhibition of the Latvian National Museum of Literature and Music is coming to an end / day
Along with the manufacture and installation of technological solutions to the new museum’s home on Mārstaļu Street 6, the first original items are also starting. A very modern LNRMM exposition will not only allow visitors to appreciate the cultural heritage, but also go on an unforgettable adventure of presence and inspire themselves. Speaking about the personalities of Latvian writers and musicians, the human aspects of creativity will be illuminated in 100 episodes, which are not written in classic research sources: creation rituals, inspiration, passion and various favorite everyday activities that take on unique, ingenious, excellent, creative works. Exposure Prokrastination & Creation Content has been created in close LNRMM art experts in collaboration with writer Nora Iksten, artist Anna Heinrihson, creative director Unu Rosenbaum, musician Sigvard Klava. The production and installation of exposure solutions is carried out by the Association of Persons SIA Solavi ”and SIA“ Ad Production.
The building at 6 Mārstaļu Street has been carried out in ambitious renovation work, renovated 1400 m2 spacious rooms, adapting them to the LNRMM needs. Historical testimonies, ranging from the art monument of national importance, the luxury of the Rococo -style entrance portal – to the vast attic, which is decorated with huge wooden structures, originating in the 16th century, creating a suitable environment for poetry readings, musical events and work. Indoors work on the restoration of several open wall paintings. The courtyard of the building is also well -equipped and former paintings by Helen Heinrihsone were restored to the walls.
Renewal work with a rich history in the Old Town House Mārstaļu Street 6, Riga, according to SIA Architectural Office Coast The project has been carried out since the summer of 2021 Upb. The former residential building at 6 Mārstaļu Street is an outstanding construction monument in the Old Town Development in the Baroque -Classicism Age. The house is located in the national city construction monument Historical Center of Riga City and UNESCO World Heritage Object The historic center of Rigaas well as national archaeological monument Old Riga Archaeological Complex in the area.
