Injured in a knife attack in Hamburg
Several people were injured in a knife attack in Hamburg Central Station. The fire brigade spoke of six life -threatening injuries, three seriously and three slightly injured. The police initially gave no information about the number of injuries. According to them, a person stabbed themselves on the platform between the tracks 13 and 14. The streets Steintorbrücke and Steintordamm, which cross on the south side of the train station above the tracks, were closed to road traffic. Stairs that lead down to tracks are blocked by the authorities.

Deutsche Bahn expressed its « deep dismay » about the knife attack. « Our thoughts and compassion are among the injured, » says a message.
Several knife attacks this year
