Information and Skill Competitions between Vocational High Schools are held – Cyprus Newspaper
Information and skill competitions between Vocational High Schools organized by the Vocational Technical Education Department of the Ministry of National Education started.
According to a statement from the Ministry of National Education, the competitions will continue until 29 April.
Within the scope of the event, IT technologies, child development and education, electrical electronic technology, handicrafts, ceramics, food technology, clothing production technology, graphic, photography and printing, beauty and hair care services, machine technology, metal technology, furniture and interior design, motor vehicles technology, agricultural technology, food and beverage and accommodation services, installation and air conditioning technology, accounting finance and market management, construction technology. Competitions will be held in cadastral and drilling areas.
A total of 321 students and 96 teachers from 13 schools participate in the competitions. In the evaluation process, 151 jury members of universities and businesses will be involved.
Eastern Mediterranean University, International Cyprus University and Vocational Technical Education Department is home to the event. Scholarship opportunities will be provided by universities to the students who are successful in the competitions.
