The prices of life supplies increased by an average of 2.3 percent on average, and 1.3 percent on a monthly basis. Annual inflation increased the most expanses of food and soft drinks, while the most more expensive holiday packages contributed to the monthly rise in prices.

The prices of life supplies increased by 2.3 percent compared to last April. In the same month of last year, the inflation rate was 3.0 %.

The services increased on average 3.2 percent and the goods by 1.8 percent. For semi -permanent goods, prices were 3.9 % higher and daily consumption was 1.9 percent, while permanent goods decreased by 0.3 percent.

Higher food and soft drink prices (5.9 percent) contributed 1.1 percentage points to annual inflation. This was followed by increases in clothing and footwear groups (4.2 percent), recreation and culture (by 3.0 percent) and restaurants and hotels (by 4.4 percent) – which additionally increased inflation by 0.3 percentage points.

In April stood out the focus of holiday packages and footwear

Compared to the previous month, the prices of supplies increased by 1.3 percent on average.

The highest, 0.5 percentage points, contributed more expensive holiday packages (by 13.6 percent) to April inflation. 0.4 percentage points were followed by focus and other footwear increasing (20.0 percent), with 0.1 percentage points at all times of air passenger transport (26.3 %), outdoor sports and recreation equipment (9.0 percent), accommodation services (5.5 percent), vegetables (4.2 percent), meat (2.6 percent) equipment (by 1.9 percent), and all the remaining April price.

Inflation, on the other hand, was 0.1 percentage points to alleviate cheaper liquid fuels (6.3 percent), fuel and lubricant for passenger cars (by 3.1 percent), and a household consumables, which dropped by 4.1 percent.
