Industry 4.0: This is how Dropslab makes manufacturing procedures easier for companies
The Hannover Messe is a central meeting point for innovation, technology and economic progress. « As a Chamber of Commerce, we see it as our task to support companies from our region to network with international markets, to recognize technological trends at an early stage and to open up new business opportunities, » says Edith Stein, senior advisor for international affairs at the Chamber of Commerce.
It is shown in the state capital of Lower Saxony, how AI technologies optimize production processes, increase efficiency and improve the competitiveness of companies sustainably.
Numerous exhibitors demonstrate how AI solutions are implemented in practice. AI trends and use cases are to be presented and discussed on the big stages and in the master classes-the Luxembourg company Dropslab Technologies also has a stand at the fair. The Chamber of Commerce will visit the fair, but this year will not be present with a joint stand.
Central meeting point for innovation
This year the fair takes place in a particularly challenging economic environment, Stein sums up. « Global supply chains are increasingly stressed by geopolitical tensions, rising tariffs and protectionist trade measures. The continuing war in Ukraine and other international crises tighten the uncertainties for companies, especially in energy -intensive industries. At the same time, inflation and volatile raw material prices drive production costs up, which increases competitive pressure. »

In this difficult time, the exchange at the Hanover Messe is particularly valuable. It offers companies the opportunity to get to know innovative solutions for resilient supply chains, sustainable production and digital transformation, according to the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce.
Luxembourg’s travel industry presents itself in Berlin
In specialist lectures and panel discussions, visitors have the opportunity to learn from leading experts and discover best practice. Companies such as Altair, Beckhoff, Bosch, Google Cloud, PSI, SAP or Siemens present their latest AI-based solutions and show how these technologies can be implemented in practice. In addition, start-ups and research institutes such as the DFKI, Fraunhofer or KIT will present their innovative approaches that have the potential to change industry sustainably.

Ki plays a central role on all major stages of the fair: for example on Industry 4.0 Stage in Hall 8, the Energy 4.0 stage in Hall 13 or on the digital transformation Stage in Hall 17. Here the signs are entirely on AI in industry.
This is also the case with Dropslab Technologies, founded in 2020, a so-called Software-As-A-Service (SaaS)-based Augmented reality platform for the manufacturing and mechanical engineering industry.

Augmented reality is a technological phenomenon generated by the computer. The augmented virtual elements act on users as if they were physically anchored in the real world. This succeeds by carrying out a three-dimensional registration.
Great time savings
« Our solution, for example, offers frontline employees a real-time instruction directly in your field of vision and enables you to do the tasks more efficiently and with fewer mistakes, » says Meysam Minoufekr, Managing Director at Dropslab Technologies.

Existing work processes, whether on paper or digitally, are often outdated and no longer context -related, « since the situation on site is constantly evolving ». Refaulting relevant information in operating instructions or corporate databases estimates almost 20 percent of the time of employees and leads to waste and inefficiency. Most available AR solutions lack the ongoing task of immediate feedback and results.
It is clear that with the growth of the manufacturing trade and other industries, the challenges also increase, and digital work instructions would become an important solution to improve processes and the performance of the employees.
Together with our companies, we are committed to using the opportunities of this transformation as best as possible.
Edith Stein
Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce
« Despite the challenges, we see the future with confidence: technological innovation, international cooperation and entrepreneurial courage are the keys to economic recovery and sustainable growth. Together with our companies, we are committed to using the opportunities of this transformation as best as possible, » said Stein.

« Communication is improved with intelligent solutions, optimizing work processes and ensuring that tasks are carried out smoothly. The use of such tools can reduce industrial companies or accelerate the training, » says Minoufekr. « As is well known, effective production management is important for manufacturers who simplify their processes, reduce costs and want to remain at the top in today’s competitive industrial environment. »
