Indictment against an organized crime group for serious crimes, including murder, extortion and serious offenses against general security

Following a continuous and thorough investigation, the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office for the Prosecution of Organized Crime and Corruption filed an indictment against nine people- members of the organized criminal group « Belanica-Baron » to the Basic Criminal Court. In coordination with the law enforcement authorities, extensive and relevant evidence is provided on the basis of which the defendants are charged with more serious crimes committed from 2020 to 2024, including seven murders.

The prosecution, as reported earlier in a briefing with the media, has been working for more than a year and is a serious criminal group with serious structure and criminal association that have endangered the lives of people through their activities and action. The prosecution says this is one of the more serious criminal groups that has been dealt with so far and are linked to already known criminal groups.

There are two subgroups in the Bunker case, one for four murders, two of which. The motives are different, but they are all on the order of low motives, revenge, struggle for supremacy and endangering many people. The oldest murder has been since 2014, and the killings in the « bottle bar » in the Skopje Bazaar and the murder in Hanioti, in neighboring Greece, are the most stupid.

The second subgroup has a special three murders, for which an order is ordered by prison. One is a double murder, which two are on the run. This group, as indicated at the briefing, is initially guided by extortion and burning of objects, as a way to show the seriousness of the threats. There are also cars of vehicles, which are commissioned by prison, and are carried out by young people from the outside for small money.

The indictment is against nine people, plus seven on the run and the investigation has been suspended. In addition, the investigation has been extended to four more people, murder assistants and two for a new murder, which the prosecution has already informed.

The Prosecutor’s Office, in a statement to the media, informed that in 2020, three first defendants created an organized criminal group to commit serious crimes – primarily murder and other violent acts. The organizers of the group made decisions and gave concrete guidelines for goals, locations and a way of liquidating persons mostly by the opposing criminal group. They acted with a clear division of roles, and the plans were implemented by other members – accused, deceased or inaccessible to law enforcement agencies, and some unidentified persons.

According to the evidence gathered, some of the defendants are linked to the following murders committed by order and organization of the group:
– Murder of Ibrahim Ajdini in August 2020: The first defendant on behalf of the radical movement offered and paid 10,000 euros for the murder, motivated by suspicion that the victim was working with the institutions in the « Monster » case. The victim was shot in his home, with a shot in the head. The perpetrators removed the evidence and fled.

– Murder of Xhelal Ibraimi – January 2023: Organized by the group in retaliation for personal insult to the first defendant. The murder was committed in the victim’s home, with more shots. 20,000 euros were paid to the attack.

– Double murder of Jeton Krivova and Enes Izinov – March 2023: Revenge for previous killings. The first defendant provided 250,000 euros and specific guidelines. The attack was particularly cruel, carried out in a business building by shooting from close range. The attackers then set fire to the vehicle and received logistical escape support.

– Murder of Orhan Bajrami (Oki) – July 2023: Derived in Greece, in a luxury resort. The victim was monitored through legal and illegal crossings. The attack was carried out by two masked assailants who fired 19 bullets, inflicting three deadly sores on the victim and badly wounding another person.

In 2021, the six -suspected two suspects formed a new criminal group, focused on murder of retaliation and liquidation of members of other criminal structures:

– Murder of Camer Idrizi (Bundes) – May 2021: Performed by the sixth and other persons, with 57 shots. The victim was the target of revenge for the death of a relative of one of the organizers.

– Murder of Abdul Bastra Ibraimovski – July 2024: Due to disrupted relations and previous conflicts. The attack used automatic rifles. The victim died and the other person was badly wounded and later died.

– Murder of Ibrahim Ismail Abitz: committed in Singelic by the first defendant, his brother and the eighth. 65 bullets were fired.

In addition, the indictment contains actions in which some of the defendants such as commissioners or perpetrators have caused fire fires by Idrizovo Proceedings and members of their families, in order to prevent official actions, and some of the defendants organized forced money from companies, threats.

The prosecution informs that on December 20, 2024, during searches of property related to the first defendant, hand grenades, TNT explosives, semi -automatic rifle and ammunition bushes were found.

On the basis of the actions described, seven people are charged with committing a crime of criminal association, and more killings such as accomplices, incentives or perpetrators, four of them committed crimes for extortion, and five crime of serious offenses against general security. One person is charged with committing a crime of murder and one for a crime of extortion. The first suspect is charged with an unauthorized crime of unauthorized manufacture, holding, mediation and trafficking in weapons.

Given the circumstances in the public prosecutor, the Prosecutor has demanded that the previously imposed measures and seizure of the confiscated cases originating in the crime.

The BPPO GOCK says that the « Selibriti » data extraction system from phones and electronic devices, which is a donation from the US Requirement, has been the « great help » investigation. Without such equipment, such crime cannot be prosecuted, because, as they point out, the seizures in the investigation of devices and phones and their expert examination have obtained exceptional important data that has been helpful for the investigation.

As they point out at the media briefing, the prosecution has resisted every aspect and challenge for providing evidence and searches, pointing out that they even found a way of coordinating and prison in Peruid from 2020 to 2024, while interconnecting group communications as if they wanted to have an influence.

-Where a police officer is mentioned, they were given further overall to internal monitoring control. So far there are two people to be analyzed. If we are established, we will act – the prosecution said.

The BPPO GOCK, in this context, point out that more than 35 indictments have been filed in the past period against prison police for various cases. Although, as they say, the bribery is not directly proven, the prosecution is prosecuting them with abuse of power and service.
