India plans a military impact / day
Among the two countries, tensions have increased following an attack on the Kashmir resort, where militants shot at least 26 tourists on April 22. Most of the tourists killed were Indians, and the attack took place about five kilometers from Pahalgam in the region.
Tarar came up with this statement after Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting behind closed doors with army and security managers on Tuesday, during which he gave the army a « complete operational freedom » to respond to the terrorist attack in Kashmir, said a news source in government.
« Pakistan has credible intelligence data that India intends to make a military blow over the next 24 to 36 hours, using a Pahalgam incident as a false pretext, » Tarar said on the « X » platform.
India has accused Pakistan in support of the attack on the attack, but Islamabad denies such support.
« Any act of aggression will be given a determined answer, » Tarar said. « India will be perfectly answered with any serious consequences in the region! »
The Indian army said on Tuesday that it was repeatedly involved in a shooting with Pakistani soldiers across the control line, which is the actual border between the two countries in Kashmir.
The Pakistani army did not confirm that such a firing had taken place. On State Radio in Islamabad, the army had been shot down by the Indian drone that had violated Pakistan’s airspace.
India and Pakistan each manages part of Kashmir, but both are eligible for the entire area.
In the Indian -controlled part of Kashmir, militants have been fighting Delhi since 1989. Many Kashmir Muslims support the object of rebels to unite the area either under Pakistani or as an independent state.
India insists that Kashmir militants are terrorism sponsored by Pakistan. Pakistan denies these accusations, and many Kashmir people believe it is a legitimate struggle for freedom. Tens of thousands of civilians, rebels and government forces have been killed in the conflict.
