The Indian Government accused Pakistan of « repeated violations » of a ceasefire arranged on Saturday after four days of military conflict between the two countries, saying that the army answered « appropriately », while Pakistani Minister of Information says that « there was no violation, » agencies report.
« In the last few hours, there have been repeated violations, » the agreement of the Foreign Minister Vikram Misra told reporters. « The armed forces responded appropriately to these offenses. »
« We invite Pakistan to take appropriate measures to respond and deal with the situation seriously and responsibly, » the Foreign Minister added.
Reuters conveys a statement by the Pakistani Minister of Information of Attaullah Tarar, who told Geo News that « there has been no violation of the ceasefire so far. »
The Pakistani army spokesman did not immediately respond to the commentary’s requests.
Multiple explosions echoed several hours after reaching the agreement in two large cities in Kashmir under the control of India.
Residents said that after a loud explosion in Srinagar and Jammu, there was an electricity disappearances in these two cities on suspicion of drones’ invading, the Times Now Information Channel reported. Similar reports on the impacts have been recorded along the western sector of the Indian-Pakistan border, DPA reports.
Omar Abdullah, the highest -chosen official of the region, said in a post on social networks: « What the hell has just happened to the trial? Explosions are heard throughout the Srinagar !!! »
