India calls attacks on Pakistan ‘Terror control’

During the first press conference since the major escalation, the Indian authorities stated that their attacks on the part of Kashmir and the Pakistani province of Punjab in the context of « fight against terrorism ».

Pakistan speaks of a « war act » who would have cost life to at least 31 people, including a child.

During the press conference, India raised the terrorist attack on April 22, with 25 Indians and one Nepalese killed. The attack was the toughest in almost twenty years due to the large number of civilian deaths.

« (The terrorists) tourists shot in front of family members’ eyes, » said Vikram Miskri, the Indian Minister of Foreign Affairs, according to channel India Today. According to the Indian security service, there is a chance that more attacks will take place in India.

According to the Indian minister, the Pahalgam attack « exposed the ties of Pakistan with terrorists. » According to India, Pakistani authorities have also taken ‘no action’ to combat terrorism, according to Miskri.

Operation Sindoor has started to ‘give justice’ to the victims of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, said the Indian Colonel Sophia Qureshi. According to India, nine terrorist camps have been destroyed by the attack.

Due to ‘intense shelling’ and repeated violations of the cease-fire ‘between India and Pakistan, Indian citizens are transferred from the border areas to bunkers and other’ safe refuge kits’.
