India and Pakistan agree on a ceasefire / day

Trump announced on his social platform « Truth Social » that the US had achieved « complete and immediate ceasefire » as mediators.

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, Saahak, also confirmed the ceasefire, adding that the involvement of Saudi Arabia and Turkey was also important in the talks.

« It was agreed that both sides would cease any firing and military action on land, air and sea. Both parties have given instructions to implement this agreement, » said Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri. He added that senior military officials would meet again on May 12.

US Secretary of State Marko Rubio announced that the agreement had been reached after a broad talks involved by him and US Vice -President James David Wens, India and Pakistan’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Shehbaz Chariff and other senior officials.

« I am pleased to announce that the governments of India and Pakistan have agreed on immediate ceasefire and negotiations on a wide range of issues in a neutral place, » Rubio said on the platform X.

Pakistan launched a counterattack on India on Saturday after attacking three of its air forces at night and the conflict between the two hostile countries exacerbated to a dangerous level.
