Increasing support of plasma sports playing young people in Slovenia as well

The biggest amateur sporting manifestation, which has been delighting, entertained and uniting children for 28 years, gains increasing support and popularity in children as well as in the decision -making and business public. Exactly 28 years ago, the project was launched by the former Croatian Finance Minister Zdravko Marić In order to return children to play, sports, recreation, socializing and active attitude towards the social and natural environment in which they live.

Each spring, many sports competitions in street basketball, tennis, table tennis, beach volleyball, play between two fires and other games are reunited. Participation in games is completely free of charge for children and their families, with all costs covered by the organizers. The importance of the project for the young generation was among the first to publicly point out Alexander Cheferinwho has ensured that as president of the UEFA and a committed supporter of the Foundation for Children, he will maximize the development of young people’s sports games.

Games are held all over Slovenia this year, with 197 sporting events planned, with around 50,000 children gathering. Competitions in ten sports industries began with table tennis tournaments in February, they continued in March with handball, football and chess tournaments, and in April athletic competitions and games between two fires and volleyball matches will start. The opening of this season of the games will be again in Ljubljana, May 19.

Among the partners of the youth sports games are Zavarovalnica Triglav, Slovenian Railways and Petrol, and the list of the sounding names of the youth sports games will be joined this year by a Slovenian basketball star Goran Dragic. Ljubljana Mayor Zoran Jankovic is also convinced that young people’s sports games are an exceptional and positive project that brings together children in sports and in movement.
