Increased defense expenses, according to the Romanians
In a barometer made by Inscop Research, director Remus Stefureac, at the command of the news platform Informed.ro In partnership with Think-Strategic Thinking Group, Romanians would support an increase in defense expenses.
Gold voters and people with primary studies are the categories that oppose the increase in defense expenses, the source mentioned.
As for Romanians with primary studies, 64% are pronounced in favor of higher defense expenses, and 32% reject the idea. Also, they want a more significant budget for defense 74% of Romanians with high school and 81% of those with higher education. In contrast, 25% of those with high school and 18% of those with higher education do not support a significant increase in defense expenses.
Of the men questioned, 75% want an increase in expenses, and 25% are against. Of women, 71% support the allocation of more defense funds, and 26% do not want this.
The data were collected by the CATI method (telephone interviews), the volume of the simple sample, stratified by 1,150 people. The maximum admitted data error is plus/minus 2.9%, to a degree of 95%.
