According to Rosůlková, students submitted an electronically 84 percent of the applications. This is a significant step from the perspective of Minister Beka to simplify the admission administration. High schools received 11 percent of applications. Hybrid only 5 percent.
At the base of available data, the Ministry of Education has already positive responses to the increase in the capacity of four -year grammar schools. There is also a growing offer of lyce studies, where this year about two thousand applications came from students, which does an increase of 19 percent. Bek also highlights increased demand for apprenticeships.
There is traditionally the greatest interest in the fields of mechanic and repairman of motor vehicles, hairdresser, chef and waiter.
The most sought after students are four -year fields ended with a school -leaving examination, such as business, practical nurse or IT, where, however, there was a slight decrease in interest compared to last year.
Jan Mareš, Director of the Education and Youth Section, outlined the schedule of entrance examinations.
Ranging from 11 .- 17. April will take place for superstructure and graduation fields. The replacement date will take place on 29-30 April. School and talent exams will then be 17th March – 23rd April.
The overall results will then be found in the study on 15 May. Between 12 – 14 May, students will be allowed to look at the file documentation for the management process.
This year, more than 154,000 applicants submitted an application for high school, sent about 419,700 applications for four -year fields and multi -year grammar schools. The deadline for registration has expired at midnight last Friday, but people can continue to submit applications for a waiver of the deadline. It depends on schools whether later submissions will forgive.
The Dipsy system could use the applicants for the first time last year, and it was delayed due to problems with recording attachments and subsequent safety verification. Opened on 2 February 2024 in the evening. The Minister of Education Mikuláš Bek (STAN) later extended the deadline for submitting applications by a day.
