When I think of the ‘new hope’ first comes to mind childhood.
May 1995. or 1996, when I first looked at her and fell in love. Or maybe the music of John Williams.
I mean, much comes to my mind, but it’s my first reflex.
In the family of my best friend, first of all, his father, long were the big fans and when we were a little toys from the world of stars wars.
We played them before I was watching movies at all.
We had some six years, still in kindergarten, not at school, when we put the VHS cassette into a video recorder and looked at the first five minutes ‘new hopes’ on the TV.
As soon as the Star Wars logo cracked over the screen, followed by the music of John Williams, I was done.
And when in that first scene, during the attack on the ship, Dart Wadder appeared – I totally lost my head.
I ran home, boom, boom, boom parents on the door, ‘Mom, Dad, you know what I watched, black robot, mechanical breathing’ … that was, the end.
I can’t explain what exactly, that event has overtook me.
