As a result of the attack on the evening of May 7, an employee of Warsaw University was killed, another person was injured.

The incident happened around 6:40 pm local time on Wednesday at the University of Warsaw in the Krakow suburb.
Armed with an ax, the guy broke into the territory of the university and attacked the people who were there. As a result, a woman was killed and another person was seriously injured.

The Warsaw police detained the attacker-he was a 22-year-old Polish citizen. The motives of his act are still unknown.
The University of Warsaw was later informed that an employee of the administrative department, who was 60 years old, was killed. And the wound was given to an employee of university security, who tried to intervene.
In connection with the attack, the university administration declared a day of mourning on May 8.
