The facts occurred Thursday evening shortly before 9 p.m. in the emergency room of the Médipôle de Villeurbanne clinic, when the members of the family of a patient attacked caregivers, said the prefecture, confirming information from BFMTV Lyon.
Once againthe attackers criticized the caregivers for waiting time for the care of their loved one. Nurses, caregivers or physiotherapists relate similar stories, which are added to already degraded working conditions. Adopted unanimously at the Assembly before the dissolution of June 9, 2024, a bill providing for hardening the sanction of these acts towards health professionals has been waiting for the Senate for a year.
