In Ukraine, the installation of mobile towers will speed up
The government has approved a resolution that accelerates the construction of mobile base stations.
About it reported The Ministry of Digital Transformation press service.
It is noted that during martial law, operators will receive permits for the placement of base stations within 25 days, before this process could last up to two years.
This solution will help to expand mobile operators in remote corners of Ukraine and along highways.
The ministry told what time the operators will receive permits to build mobile networks:
- 15 working days instead of 6 months – on state and communal property, for example, on the roof of the house;
- 25 working days instead of 1.5 years – in state and communal land.
After the permission is received, operators can immediately place base stations.
Preparation for the auction, development of land management projects and other steps to receive the lease of property or land, operators must take place during martial law and 2 years after.
