In Transcarpathia, locals attacked border guards: there are victims
In the village of Veliky Berezny in Transcarpathia, local residents attacked the border guards during the inspection. The incident was injured.

Details: According to the border guards, the incident happened on the evening of May 29 in one of the Roma settlements in Greater Berezne. The border guards, together with police and National Guards, checked information about the possible organizers of the scheme of crossing men of conscription age across the Ukrainian-Slovak border.

Details: To stop the attack, security officers used special means, including opened fire from firearms.
Two border guards who were injured in moderate severity were hospitalized. Two service cars were also damaged.
The National Police reported that one of the attackers has now been detained, measures are underway to identify other persons involved in the attack.
On this fact, criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art. 345 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (« Threat or violence against a law enforcement officer ») and Art. 194 of the Criminal Code (« deliberate destruction or damage to property »).
