According to the DWD, Bayers have to expect wind gusts throughout the Pentecost Sunday. According to the authority, the dangerous wind peaks can occur between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m.
In addition, the DWD warns of storm gusts at certain altitudes. These can reach speeds of 55 to 70 kilometers per hour. In view of the shower and in exposed locations, the gusts can quickly blow up to 80 kilometers per hour. In the train, the DWD mainly warns of falling branches. The official warnings apply on Pentecost Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Storm gusts can occur in the north and east of Bavaria from a height of around 800 meters. For the two western counties Dillingen Ad Donau and Donau-Ries the warning applies from 600 meters. The gusts of wind only occur from 1,500 meters near the alpine, but the DWD receives the warning there until 8 p.m.
