Colleagues of the victim from Sport-Express toldthat Vladimir was a native of Rivne region. He began his career in the 1990s, when he covered sports events in Rivne.

Subsequently, the journalist moved to Kiev, where he worked in the publication for ten years, and also wrote publications for « Ukrainian Football » and « Team ».
