« The Day of National Communities in Lithuania has been celebrated since 2014, when the first events were held. This day leads us to the old days, even when Gediminas invited artisans and merchants from abroad to Lithuania with letters to Lithuania, Vytautas the Great invited Tartars, Karaims and other nations to come to Lithuania. It reminds that the Lithuanian national community created the independent Lithuania that we have today and that they also participated in the activities of the Sąjūdis, stood on the Baltic Way, defended the Lithuanian Seimas and the TV Tower today, the day of the national communities, and it is great to thank everyone who stood for Lithuania, ”emphasized D.
