In the pilot project, a deposit fee in the bank account will be available using DPAays solution / day
It is planned that after the pilot project, Dio will gradually introduce the new functionality throughout the Latvian target network.
In order to receive a deposit fee in the bank account, the user will need to register for the « DPAYS.EU » on the first time and create a profile. You can register with a Google account, Apple account or email and password.
You will then need to add a bank account to the DPAYS profile on the Baltic Bank Account.
On the other hand, you will need to press the « Scan the deposit code » button on the site, and then you will need to scan the square code on the taromate screen.
Depending on the recipient’s bank deposit, the fee will be credited to the specified account within one minute to a few hours. The payment will be credited to the largest bank accounts within minutes within minutes.
Make sure that the deposit fee can be obtained from the bank account in a particular « ELVI » taromate, possibly in two ways – visual information with a square code will be located on the taromate screen or on the « www.depozitapunkts.lv » interactive map will be a new choice.
At the deposit points included in the pilot project, users will still have the opportunity to select a voucher in a store or donate to one of the four charity directions – Ukraine, animal shelters, seriously ill children or lonely seniors.
LETA has already announced that the deposit system in Latvia began to operate on the beverage packaging on February 1, 2022. The State Environmental Service has decided to entrust the drink packaging deposit system for seven years.
Dio’s turnover in 2023 was EUR 24.86 million and profit of EUR 1.68 million. The financial data of the company 2024 has not yet been made public.
The company was registered in 2020 and its share capital is 124,500 euros. The owners of the company are SIA « Beer and Beverage Packaging Union » (18.07%), Coca-Cola HBC Latvia Ltd. (18.07%), SIA « Cido Grupa » (12.05%), JSC « Cēsu alus » (12.05%), AS « Iterum » (formerly « PET Baltija ») (12.05%) Retailers ‘Association (9.64%) and Latvian Brewers’ Union (6.02%).
Elvi Latvija acts as a franchisor. The turnover of Elvi Latvija in 2023 was EUR 5.481 million, which is 5.1% more than a year ago, while the company’s profit increased up to 6.7% and was 116,343 euros. The financial data of the company 2024 has not yet been made public.
Elvi Latvija was registered in 2010 and its share capital is 1 002 820 euros. « ELVI Latvija » is owned by Fortis VM Ltd. (66.88%), Imants Rendenieks (33.05%) and Realto Capital Ltd (0.07%), the sole owner of Alvis Krasovskis.
