Angelė Aniulė, director of Klaipeda kindergarten « Eglutė », said that this initiative was for the first time, although it had been discussed for several years.

« For several years now, we have been thinking that we would need a unifying event that will bring together the whole community. The sun symbolizes health, light, warmth, life, so we chose the idea of ​​making sunsets. This was also developed by children’s cutting skills, communion, employees and parents. thousands, ”Aniulė said.

A total of about 500 people participated in this initiative. As the result surprised even the creators themselves, it was decided to apply for the Academy of Records.

« We have submitted an application. The event was attended by independent calculators, evaluators, they recorded how many sunsets there are. We will provide all the material, we will see if it will be confirmed.

The children’s smiles warmed up

According to the director of the kindergarten, such initiatives promote communion and create joy not only to its creators but also to those around her.

In addition, the sunsets were made from secondary raw materials and will be used for future work.

« We were thinking about sustainability, using paper scraps, defective paper. Wooden sticks will be used in the educational process, and we will certainly not pollute nature if we have such thoughts.

The result is beautiful – 15 thousand sunsets, though we planned 10 thousand.

One of the initiators of the idea, Laura Pukinskienė, a specialist in public health specialist in this kindergarten, did not hide that the good emotions of children are still on the eye and the heart.

« I was most impressed when the children saw their work, put together in one place. Nobody expected what it would look like. When the children saw, their impression, smiles and emotions redeemed the whole work.

The reaction was pleasantly surprised

According to L. Pukinskienė, the reaction from the record academy has already been received.

« The Academy of Records has written to us – the photos have already been sent. Said that our unity was seen and that they really liked the result. He will continue to communicate with the witnesses who counted the sunsets, review the prepared documents, and then we will wait for the result, ”said L. Pukinskienė.

There will be a sunny kindergarten until the beautiful weather is delighted.

« Whoever wants, can come, walk, see, » said A. Aniulė.
