An exhibition was opened at the Art Gallery in Split, organized by Erste Bank dedicated to a unique project that supports the work of young artists in Croatia. It is the 20th anniversary of this exhibition, and this time not only some new works are presented, but the exhibition is also retrospective and brings artwork of award -winning during the past cycles, the author who are already established by artists today. An exhibition entitled « Erste Fragments » before being presented in Split, it was also set up in Zagreb and in Rijeka.
Over the past years, more than 220 works have been purchased in the competition for the purchase of young artists, mostly in the medium of painting, but also in the medium of photography, as well as the sculpture or installation.

The value of the retrospective exhibition is enough to say that the works of the author and the author with the references of the central exhibition concept at Biennale in Venice in 2015, such as David Maljković, full -time members of Hazo Gordana Bakić, winners of the annual Award by Vladimir Nazor Matko Vekic Lane Stojicevic, Dina Zrnec and Gloria Lizda and the winner of Essl Award Zlatan Vehabovic, Sabine Mikelic, Jelena Lovrec and Vanja Babic. There are also the works of professors or lecturers at art academies and other higher education institutions in Croatia, Alema Korkuta, Pauline Jazvic, Damir Stojnic, Ines Matijevic Cakic …

As part of the exhibition, visitors can also see the works of young artists who have been purchased in a recent competition. These are the work of the latest winners of the Erste Grand Prix Award – Albe Miocev and the works of Caroline Barbarić, Mija Markušić and Fran Ferković. The exhibition remains open until April 27, and the entrance to the exhibition is free of charge.
