Not one, neither two, nor three, but 22 burglaries in pharmacies in Thessaloniki is accused of committing a 32 -year -old man in the last four months, with his prey exceeding 9,000 euros.

The foreign perpetrator was arrested and charged with a criminal prosecution, and was referred to apologize to a regular investigator.

How did the 32 -year -old act in Thessaloniki

The 32 -year -old was approaching pharmacies sometimes on foot and sometimes with a two -wheeled engine. He always acted after the afternoon when his goals were not working. After breaking the safety rolls, he broke the glass door of the central entrance with the use of objects and then removed the cash register drawer.

It is noteworthy that when he used his engine, he placed a bagpipe with the well -known online distribution company to mislead the authorities.

Officers arrived on his traces and during his home raid, the 32 -year -old was found to hold a pistol and rejected, and despite his strong resistance, he was immobilized and arrested.

The methodical and extensive investigation of police officers of the Northern Greece Organized Crime Division led to the delineation of 22 cases of pharmacy burglary in various areas of Thessaloniki, which were held from December 2024 until April 2025.

The case was arrested in the morning of Friday, April 4, 2025, in the context of the autopsy, a 32 -year -old alien, who was charged with a case -by -case -bye, foreign -owned, abuses, violence against officials and judicials.

It was preceded by an investigation by the Office of Crimes Property of the Department of Prosecution of Life and Property Crimes to address the burglaries of pharmacies in specific areas of Thessaloniki.

In this context, the geographical profile and the modus operandi) of the burglaries were recorded and analyzed, while the utilization of evidence and through the preparation of a special business plan, the 32 -year -old was identified and his criminal activity was identified.

As it turned out, the defendant, from December 7, 2024 to April 3, 2025, had committed 22 burglaries in pharmacies in Thessaloniki, earning a total of 9,095 euros, while the value of the deducted items is € 1,450.

In particular, the 32 -year -old modus operandi found that, early morning, approaching pedestrian or scooter pharmacies, which violated the safety rolls, broke the glass door of the central entrance with the use of objects.

Characteristic of the act of the defendant was the use of contrasting measures both during the approach and during the breach and entry of the stores, and to mislead the law enforcement authorities, he had placed a well -known online distributor distributor in the scooter.

As part of the operation, which was carried out with the assistance of police officers of the Department of Information and Special Actions, the 32 -year -old was found in a house in a Thessaloniki area, where he was found to hold a pistol, which he rejected, and despite his strong resistance.

In the following investigations, they found and seized:

• pistol with a magazine containing cartridge,
• triggering cap,
• improvised cannabis cigarette, weighing 1.34 grams,
• cocaine microdema, weighing 0.97 grams,

• various garments and tools he used when committing burglaries and
• two -wheeled motorcycle, as a means of committing criminal offenses.

The detainee, with the case file formed against him, is led to the competent prosecutor’s office.
