Prague. Approximately three dozen people are still trying to capture a puma that fled from the enclosure in the Czech village of Jozefov on Wednesday evening.
Informed the portal Novinky.cz. The three -year beast has probably got out of poorly secured doors.
The animals are searching for veterinarians, firefighters, police and capture service. « Sometimes it appears somewhere, but then it disappears again. We would also be helped by people who would see her and warn us of her movement, » police spokeswoman Zuzana Churaňová asked.
Drones were also involved in the event.
The director of the State Veterinary Administration of the Karlovy Vary Region, Maria Slepičková, confirmed that breeding in Josephov is illegal.
Mayor Jozefova Ján Onku said that they know the animal in the village. According to him, the owner goes with a beast name Atilla for regular walks, while the animal is on the leash. The atmosphere in the village is not tense at all.
« She is tame, nor is she afraid of her children. She probably escaped a badly closed goal in the paddock. It is of course a mistake that it happened, » he added.
Meanwhile, the village of Jozefov jokes on its Facebook page, where it published a proposal for editing the coat of arms.
