In Sumy, police exposed two minor guys who threatened to blow up the school and demanded 3 million hryvnias of redemption.
One of them is threatened with criminal liability, reported In the press service of the prosecutor’s office of the region.
It was found that a 16-year-old young man was conspiracy with his junior friend who created an e-mail and on behalf of a acquaintance sent a message about the displacement.
”The boys agreed the text stating that the terrorist group replaced the school with four hexogene bombs of 6 kilograms each and demanded a ransom of UAH 3 million.
In case of failure to comply with the conditions, « the school together with the children will fly 20 meters into the sky. » At the same time, the boys indicated the name, first name and address where to bring the funds, a familiar girl« , – tell the details of the case in the prosecutor’s office.
Explosive equipment and police went to the scene. No explosives, which were noted by the authors of the message, were found.
”As a result of their actions, the educational process was disrupted, significant resources of police, SESA and other services were involved, which caused a large -scale divergence of forces and violation of public order« , » added In the press service of Sumy region.
Subsequently, law enforcement officers installed jokes. One of them is a 16-year-old local college student. He was informed of the suspicion of a deliberately false notice of the preparation of the explosion (Part 2 of Article 259 of the Criminal Code). The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a term of four to eight years.
In relation to his junior accomplice, the issue of the use of educational measures is being resolved, since he has not yet reached the age of criminal liability.
