In search of armed robbers in part of Latvia’s Plan Traps / Day

Taking into account the search measures, traffic may be affected by traffic in the capital and elsewhere in Latvia.

At around 3:30 pm on Tuesday, an armed robbery from the clock shop was held in Old Riga, leaving the perpetrator. One person has suffered and taken to a medical facility, the police said.

Information available to the police indicates that the perpetrators with a dark -colored Volkswagen Golf 5 have crossed the Stone Bridge in Riga, stolen in Riga.

Upon receipt of information on the event, the police immediately started searching events and have announced the « trap » special plan in some territories.

Police are calling on residents to look at the pictures of the perpetrator and the car, if you recognize or see these persons, and if you have a car moving or parked in unusual places, yards or elsewhere, report 112 or 27892080.

Law enforcers also call on the police to communicate with witnesses who have seen what was happening in the Old Town, at the intersection of Weavers and Skarnu Streets.

LETA observed that the police, for example, had restricted traffic in Jugla to Sigulda in the direction of Brivibas Street.

The municipal company « Rīgas satiksme » also reports that the city has developed unusual congestion, so the public transport movement is slowed down.
