Šurany. About two hundred opponents of the flashlight in Šurany met on the road between Nové Zámky and Šurany. The factory investor GIB Eneryx Slovakia wants to build a factory for electric bodies in the next industrial park.

The industrial park is already working
The first dredges began working on the industrial park in Šurany less than two weeks ago.

They question the public interest
The opponents of the investment claim that the public interest in building a state industrial park and a flashlight is questionable or that the expropriation of urban land on which the park is to grow is illegal.
The most common arguments against the new industrial park, respectively. However, the batteries concern the employment of foreigners and ecological impacts.
According to them, there were errors and unfair practices in the preparation of the intention to build an industrial park with a flashlight. « The benefits, ecologicalness and security of the whole project are simply excluded, » they say.
At the same time, they argue that competently circumvents the Assessment Act and the mandatory assessment of impact impact on the environment.
They are also convinced that Šuranom and its surroundings are threatened with social problems because of third -country workers who, according to them, will work in the flashlight.
One of the main comments of the defendants concerns the NMP (N-methyl-2-pyrolidone) solvent. It is an organic compound mixable with water.
In the production of batteries, it is used in the process of mixing and coating cathodes.
According to them, up to 2233 tons of NMPs are planned to use in Šurany batteries.
As the initiators of the petition warn, the NMP -in -canceric evals contain cancerous substances and have a negative effect on the reproductive health of men and women, as well as the child’s fetus itself.
