According to TVN 24 television, Juźwiak said at a press conference that Wednesday's departure of Georgians, accompanied by border guards specially trained for this type of work, was the first planned operations of this type and others will follow in the coming weeks. « Foreigners from different countries will be deported, » he added.
According to the spokesperson, the Georgians were transported to the Krakow Airport from the guarded centers practically from the whole of Poland. « These persons have received the decisions that they are obliged to return to the country they come from, or to Georgia, » he said.
TVN 24 recalled that Prime Minister Tusk spoke about the deportations of foreigners last week who grossly violated Polish laws. He mentioned at that time that Georgian gangs are very active in the country, and therefore the first deportation in the first week of March, TVN 24.
Deputy Minister of the Interior Maciej Duszczyk said at the weekend that it will be one of the largest deportations from Poland since the fall of communism in 1989.

Often they are robbery using firearms, assault, burglary, car theft, drunken driving or holding narcotics. Experts warn that the situation needs to be corrected before the gangs in the country settled permanently and before the war in Ukraine ends, because then criminals will gain access to huge supplies of weapons as after the war in the former Yugoslavia, Rzeczpospolita wrote.
She also recalled that, according to experts, five mafia godfathers of Georgian origin settled in Poland, to which Poland is experiencing sharp economic growth, there are many foreigners in the country and the borders are unstable. And the authorities have only eight interpreters controlling Georgian language.
