As it is noted, criminal proceedings were opened earlier on the basis of a crime on an article on a monument or other public place, established to honor a historical event or honor a person, as well as an article on the destruction of another’s thing.
It is a monument in honor of the fighters of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, who died in the battle with the NKVD units, which is located on a hill in a monastery in Gmina Gorynets-Zdri. It was established in the 1990s on the initiative of the Ukrainian community and repeatedly suffered damage.
A few days ago on the grave A sign appeared with the inscription:
« The fraternal grave of Ukrainians, members of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army responsible for terror and genocide against the defenseless Polish, Ukrainian and Jewish population. Lord God, have mercy on them and not retaliate them for the terrible acts that they have committed against their brothers. Forgiveness does not mean oblivion. »
