In parts of Virovitica-Podravina County water in the fall, threatening new precipitation
Chief of Civil Protection Headquarters Virovitica-Podravina County and Deputy Parish Marijo Klement said on Friday night that the water wave is currently threatening to parts of the Zdenci and Crnac Municipality and is expected to reach the Drava riverbed that would relieve the threatened areas.
We are currently pleased that it has stopped raining, so the water level fall for about half a meter in Orahovica and the Slavonian Bar in the municipality of Zdenci is also noticeable. But despite the current situation, Clement says, the threat has not passed.
Caution calls for a time forecast indicating the arrival of new rainfall. Therefore, they will also be done on duty in the night hours, that is, until the danger of further flooding is completely.
The water is still, despite the construction of the rabbit embankments, it is poured on individual parts.
Asked which areas are currently most vulnerable, Clement Hini replies that this is the space of Nova Bukovica and Jelkovac.
« That wave will head to Crnac for an hour and towards the exit of Zdenac, » Clement said at about 7 pm when he and his green transition Minister Marija Vučković and Croatian Water Director Zoran Đuroković visited the most virtuous areas of Virovitica-Podravina County.
