In one of the yards of the Podilskyi district of the capital, human remains were discovered. Information about this law enforcement officers was found during social networks monitoring, reported The police of Kiev.

There were no official requests for the remains of the police. However, according to the monitoring of social networks, investigative-operative police groups, criminalists and a forensic expert were left for the scene.

During the audit, it was found that the territory where the remains were found belongs to the Podilsky Archeological Expedition of the Institute of Archeology of the NAS of Ukraine.

The representative of the institute explained to law enforcement officers that the remains found were archaeological materials collected during excavations in the Podilskyi district in the XIX -XX centuries. They have already lost its scientific value, so they are buried in the near future in accordance with the current legislation.

Police continues to cooperate with the management of the Institute of Archeology to resolve their further storage.
