In the summer of 2025, a large -scale repair of the road surface starts in Narva. According to the Department of Municipal Economy of the Narva Cityproof, the asphalt work will cover more than 20 streets of the city, and the total volume of the updated coating will be about 21,800 square meters.
According to the senior specialist in the road economy of the Narva City Council, Alexander Chernositov, the Viamer Grupp Oü company received the work in a row.
– In the near future we plan to sign an agreement with the contractor. The amount of the contract will be 355 555.55 euros excluding tax, the end of the work is August 1, 2025, ”Chernositov noted. – The start of work is expected in the coming weeks. Perhaps the company will need time to prepare, but we will definitely inform residents in advance about the start.

Where will the road workers work?
The list of streets falling under asphalting includes both central and peripheral sections of the city. The work will take place, in particular, on the streets of UUS Pife, Hariduse, Rakvere, Soldina, Mõisa, Kangelaste, Kreenholmi, Gerasimovi, Võidu, Kadastiku, Elektrijaama, Pähklimäe, Juxu, Joala, Joala, Joala, Joala, Joala, Joala, Joala Puškini and others.
Particular attention will be paid to Karjama – Siiversti Kalmistu ring interchange.
“We tried to include both large transport arteries and secondary streets in the plan in order to improve the overall connectedness of the city and increase the safety of the road,” Chernositov explained.

In parallel with the renewal of asphalt, the patching of roads in the summer and winter period will continue. The contract for the relevant work has already been concluded with NV. Its validity of it is from June 1, 2025 to May 31, 2026, and the amount is 81,000 euros without tax on circulation.
The contract provides for the use of both traditional and modern technologies.
– In the summer, pits will be sealed with hot asphalt mixture, in winter – cold. In addition, Savalco technology is used – this is repairs with special equipment using bitumen and granite crumbs, which effectively copes with small damage to the roadway, ”said Alexander Chernositov.
According to him, the use of new technology can significantly reduce repair time and increase its quality in the conditions of the changeable climate of Estonia.
Large road projects will start in Narva
In 2025, the implementation of three large -scale road projects will begin in Narva. As the director of the Department of Municipal Economy, Natalya Shibalova, among them-the reconstruction of the Street Rahu, the construction of a connecting road between Vana-Joala-Texas, as well as updating the section of Kangelast Street.
– On Rach Street, there is a complete replacement of the base in the area of 1050 sq.m, repair of the coating, reconstruction of the sidewalk and the installation of modern lighting. Reduced curbs and bicycle paths will be equipped, ”the specialist said.
The cost of reconstruction of Rahu Street will be 888,888 euros, the work is performed by Oü KNMB. The road of Vana-Joala-Texas will cost 1.48 million euros. The completion of all work is scheduled for the end of 2025.
